About the job
- We currently seek a highly skilled Property Manager to oversee and manage a portfolio of smart properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the properties are well-maintained, compliant with all regulations, and that tenants’ needs are met.
- You will be the primary point of contact for tenants and contractors, ensuring smooth operations and maximizing the profitability and efficiency of the properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Property Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of properties, including maintenance, security, and cleanliness.
- Tenant Relations: Serve as the point of contact for tenants, ensuring that any concerns or issues are addressed promptly and professionally.
- Maintenance Coordination: Arrange for repairs and maintenance of the properties as necessary, ensuring all properties are in good condition.
- Financial Management: Prepare and manage property budgets, handle rent collection, and monitor expenditures. Ensure properties are operated cost-effectively.
- Lease Administration: Handle lease negotiations, renewals, and ensure compliance with lease agreements.
- Compliance: Ensure properties meet local regulatory requirements, including health and safety standards.
- Vendor Management: Oversee and manage contracts with external service providers, including cleaning, security, and maintenance contractors.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports to senior management on property performance, including occupancy rates, maintenance issues, and financial performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Estate Management.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in property management.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in management of smart buildings.
- Strong knowledge of property management processes, including maintenance, leasing, and legal compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple properties and tasks simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Property Manager (CPM) or similar certification.
- Experience managing commercial, residential, or mixed-use properties.
- Knowledge of local property laws and regulations.
- Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting and financial management.
