Job Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Lead and manage highway and transportation infrastructure projects.
- Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
- Monitor project progress, address issues, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Prepare project status reports and conduct project review meetings with clients and senior management.
Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical expertise in the design, engineering, and construction of highway and transportation projects.
- Review engineering designs, specifications, and drawings.
- Ensure that projects meet quality and safety standards, with a focus on sustainability.
Business Development:
- Identify new business opportunities and foster relationships with potential clients.
- Lead the preparation of high-quality technical and financial proposals for infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with the business development team to identify strategic partnerships.
- Contribute to marketing and promotional activities for the firm’s services.
Financial Management:
- Prepare project budgets, forecasts, and cost control measures.
- Ensure projects are delivered within budget and maximize profitability.
- Assist in contract negotiations and management of project contracts.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related field. A Master’s degree is an advantage.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in managing highway and transportation infrastructure projects.
- Experience in business development, with a proven track record in preparing winning technical and financial proposals.
- Familiarity with relevant engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and project management tools.
- Strong knowledge of local and international design standards, regulations, and best practices for infrastructure projects.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- PMP or other project management certification is an advantage.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to establish and maintain client relationships and foster business development.
- Strategic thinking with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
