Plant Mechanic needed at Deloitte

• We are seeking a qualified Plant Mechanic for a reputable Construction company in Nigeria.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of plant equipment used in the operations of the Construction company.
• The successful candidate will work closely with the operational team to ensure that plant equipment is regularly maintained and serviced accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance of plant equipment.
• Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing plant equipment faults.
• Sourcing and ordering parts required for repairs and maintenance of plant equipment.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and guidelines for the operation of plant equipment.
• Performing scheduled maintenance activities on a variety of plant equipment.
• Designing and implementing maintenance programs for plant equipment in compliance with manufacturer’s requirements.
• Preparing reports and maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 4 years’ experience in maintenance and repair of plant equipment.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of plant equipment maintenance procedures and techniques.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant certifications in plant equipment maintenance.
