Key Accountability:
- Coordinate and manage centralized procurement for all Raw and Packaging materials needs through Material Requirement Planning for all Plants.
- Source for Raw and Packaging materials, Energy from both local and foreign suppliers.
- Negotiate (1st level) Price, contract terms, rates and material specifications using standard economic parameters for all plants in Nigeria.
- Work with Head of Supply Chain and Head of Finance to prepare material and energy price budget.
- Drive and manage the strategy for an annual material spend in excess of ó35 million
- Develop alternative sourcing that could create a competitive edge for the company.
- Ensure Optimum Stock levels of RM & PM with commercial and production inputs for operations.
- Produce analysis and forecast information to identify risks and opportunities that helps advise business decisions as they relate to material prices in all locations.
- Initiate system and process improvements in planning and purchasing so as to give the business a competitive edge.
- Maintain and review vendor database and Price master list at assigned periods.
- Prepare and Collate monthly material purchase price variance (PPV) report from all Plants.
- Ensure optimization of resources and benefit in terms of assistance from group Head office procurement for procurement-related matters.
- Ensure process and audit compliance within organizational framework and control.
- Obtain and communicate applicable government laws as it relates to our material sourcing process.
- Recruitment, management and evaluation of both new and existing suppliers.

- Stock Turnover Rate (STR) for RM within Budget.

- No material stock-out or overstock of R&PM in the Plants
Level of Education:
- 1st University degree – BSc. or HND or CIPS or CNIPSM
Field of Study:
- Business Administration or Sciences or Social Sciences related Courses
Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing
