Job Summary:
- Our client, a leader in the manufacturing and sales of crown corks, plastics, and commercial refrigeration products, is looking to hire an experienced Payroll Specialist. The successful candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience managing payroll for 50 to 250 employees, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with statutory deductions, and maintaining efficient payroll operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for 50 to 250 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Calculate and process statutory deductions (PIT, pension, etc.) in compliance with relevant laws.
- Maintain payroll records and prepare monthly reports.
- Address employee queries related to payroll, deductions, and benefits.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure alignment with company policies.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and payroll policies.
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on payroll experience.
- Proven experience handling payroll for a manufacturing company is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian payroll systems, tax laws, and statutory deductions.
- Proficiency in payroll software and MS Excel.
- High attention to detail and strong numerical skills.
