We are currently seeking a highly motivated Phonics/Diction Teacher who is dedicated to helping our Institution achieve its primary objectives of providing high-quality education and fostering the development of excellent interpersonal skills in our students.

The ideal candidate will assume a significant role in both teaching and assessing students.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning, developing, and implementing a comprehensive curriculum aligned with learning objectives.
  • Ensuring the effective execution of daily lesson plans.
  • Delivering detailed instruction on all relevant topics within the subject area.
  • Providing comprehensive lesson notes to aid student understanding.
  • Regularly reviewing and updating students’ notes.
  • Conducting in-class practice sessions to reinforce learning.
  • Ensuring the availability of appropriate learning materials and guiding students in their effective utilization.
  • Maintaining accurate academic records for all students.
  • Assigning and evaluating student assignments.
  • Grading tests and assignments promptly and providing constructive feedback.
  • Creating a positive and engaging learning environment to cultivate students’ interest.
  • Preparing students for both internal and external examinations and competitions.
  • Fulfilling any additional duties assigned by the Head of Department.

Requirements:

  • NCE Certificate or Bachelor’s in Education.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Possess extensive knowledge of the subject matter and the ability to effectively impart knowledge to students.
  • Proficiency in employing high-quality teaching methods that facilitate seamless learning experiences.
  • Demonstrated strong skills in communication, analysis, and problem-solving, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Ability to work with students of diverse interests and capabilities.
  • Patient and empathetic approach in student interactions.
  • Genuine passion for the teaching profession
