Job Description
- Monitoring the mold Equipment’s to insure continual, efficient production during automatic mode of operation.
- Tundish preparedness and spout cleaning.
- Launder cleaning and readiness.
- Casting tundish centering along with the strand.
- Ready to cast and all Emergency valves Inspection.
- Dummy bar sealing as per standard gauge with proper materials.
- They must stand an hour constantly to monitoring the mold level.
- Smooth start up, proper lubrication feeding and slag removal from mold during casting.
- Understand the breakouts reason and to take appropriate action immediately.
- Good practice of oxygen lancing in Tundish as per shift in charge instructions.
- Understand all hazardous situations to take appropriate action.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, and earing PPE.
