Manager R&D and QC – Masterbatch Division needed at Mohinani Group

Key activities:

• Leading the development and enhancement of lab facilities and processes.
• Spearheading the formulation and implementation of new product grades and improvements.
• Ensuring consistent quality control throughout the production process.
• Maintaining the quality of running production, ensuring it meets set standards.
• Ensuring all lab equipment is properly maintained and functional.
• Collaborating effectively with plant employees and coordinate cross-departmental activities.
• Accurately recording and managing all relevant data related to production and quality.
• Conducting thorough inspections of machines, especially during grade changes.
• Inspecting inward raw materials and outward finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Monitoring and inspect running production for consistency.
• Maintaining and monitor machine parameters to ensure optimal operation.
• Identifying opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality.
• Formulating and develop new product grades as per market and company needs.
• Providing training to staff on best practices, safety procedures, and new developments.
• Assisting in the selection and procurement of high-quality raw materials.
• Working closely with the marketing team to ensure products meet market expectations.
• Developing and implement strategies for the proper reuse of rejected materials.
• Serving as the Management Representative (MR) for ISO-related activities, ensuring compliance and proper documentation.

Key Competencies:

• Excellent skills of process setting & root cause analysis, solving production and quality problems                                      
• Technical expertise to understand design, modification of design, develop new products                             
• Good expertise of safety and wealthy environment, hygienic workplace, manpower control, wastage control and improve quantity and quality
• Extensive knowledge of applications – choice of pigments and cost effective developments

Position’s requirements:

• Very good experience in processing of LDPE/ PP/ LLDPE/ pigments/ TIO2/CACO3/ Additives                                                  
• Knowledge of effect use of spectrophotometer is a must                                          
• ISO compliances – Lead the ISO role as lead auditor for setting and managing the process.                                   
• Extending Technical services to customer. Attending customer trials and resolving the complaints.
