Job Summary

The Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Responsible for overseeing and leading the pre-sales team within 9mobile, typically in a B2B context.
  • Acting as a bridge between the sales team, the client, and internal stakeholders, facilitating the sales process by delivering tailored solutions that address client needs and drive business growth.
  • Oversee the development of customized solutions and proposals that address customer needs and requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the pre-sales department in alignment with overall company objectives.
  • Define pre-sales targets, KPIs, and metrics to measure team performance and effectiveness.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of pre-sales professionals, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve pre-sales processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement best practices and standardized workflows to streamline pre-sales activities.
  • Must possess strong technical knowledge to comprehend the intricacies of the products or services being sold.
  • Collaborate with the sales team, product managers, and other stakeholders to design customized solutions or configurations that meet the client’s needs.
  • Responsible for creating compelling proposals, presentations, and demonstrations that outline the proposed solution, its benefits, and its value proposition to the client.
  • Play a key role in client interactions, including presentations, product demonstrations, and discussions with key stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and ensure that the company’s solutions remain competitive and relevant.
  • Have an in-depth understanding of the 9mobile products or services, including features, capabilities, and competitive advantages. Must be able to effectively communicate these aspects to potential clients and tailor presentations or proposals to showcase how the offerings align with the client’s needs.
  • Monitor and analyze pre-sales performance against targets and KPIs, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Support the post-sales process by ensuring a smooth handover of projects from pre-sales to implementation teams, contributing to customer success and satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science or any numerate discipline is preferred.
  • Enterprise Telco/ISP Work Experience is mandatory.
  • Good knowledge of Telco infrastructure, services, systems and processes, Last-mile Media, Fixed Connectivity Services and Enterprise Solutions
  • 3-5 years’ relevant work experience
  • Exposure to business process design and management is an added advantage
