Job Summary
- Our client operates Service Apartments within Ogba and currently requires the services of a professional Manager who has previous experience in managing Service Apartments.
- This person will oversee the activities of the other employees as well as undertake marketing activities to ensure that targets are met.
- The ideal person must have not less than 7 years’ experience some of which must be on managing Service apartments.
Job Responsibilities
They include:
- Manage daily activities of an entire apartment complex (common areas, property, residents, employees, etc.)
- Evaluate and determine resident’s eligibility for housing
- Maintain and develop positive relationships with occupants
- Provide timely, courteous, and professional service to residents
- Maintain daily records of residents’ compliance with management policies
- Provide accurate and timely monthly reports to owners
- Ensure prompt response to resident concerns
- Establish, maintain, and update policies and procedures for each management department
- Ensure the maintenance of all apartments
- Maintain an updated inventory
- Maintain a high level of professional appearance
- Initiate, implement, and evaluate new staffing, training, and evaluation procedures
- Promote a positive employee culture
- Recruit, select, train, and evaluate employees
- Improve employee relations
- Assist in recruiting, training, and developing team members for assigned communities
- Manage marketing, leasing, and resident services staff, including scheduling, performance reviews, and salary reviews
- Implement policies and procedures and maintain appropriate records; ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Promote positive resident relations with excellent customer service, while providing the highest level of personalized service
- Ensure that projects are completed on schedule
- Encourage resident involvement in community activities
- Promote business by personal contact.
Requirements dnd Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or a related field
- 5+ years’ proven experience in managing an apartment community
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and organize work while handling multiple tasks
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead.
