Job Description

• The Legal Officer shall be responsible for monitoring and/or advising on all legal matters, commercial contracts, and agreements as related to the company’s operations, ensuring compliance with the statutory and corporate governance practices and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Laws – LLB or relevant qualifications
• 5 years post-call experience .
• In-depth knowledge of legal documents and terminology.
• Skilled with MS Office.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Skills:

• Proven experience in research, analysis, and legal advisory on fundamental business matters
• Experience in contract drafting and negotiation as well as dispute resolution,
• Good understanding of general and specific company and commercial law in Nigeria
• Managing compliance with regulatory institutions and supporting business and official engagements
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion.
