SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITES
- Support the Human Resources Manager to ensure administrative matters are handled real time and proper records of employees are kept
MAIN FUNCTIONS:
- Ensure that staff attendance is monitored on a daily basis
- Coordinate recruitment efforts, including job postings, interviews.
- Process new hire paperwork, conduct orientations, and ensure compliance with onboarding procedures
- Maintain accurate records of employee information, including personnel files and I-9 documentation.
- Prepares assessment documents every 6months for contract staff and ensures new contracts are issued in time. .
- Scheduling meetings, interviews, HR events for the dept
- Coordinate training programs for new hires and existing employees.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, reports, and databases.
- Coordinate the Monthly Performance Appraisal
- Issuing deployment memo to new staff also transfer and redeployment memo as at when due.
- Ensures queries from various departments are handled in a timely manner or escalated to HRM and ALL queries is log in the query log book on a real time bases
- Maintain HR department’s calendar of events.
- Take minutes of weekly operations meetings.
- Facilitate employee recognition and retention programs.
- Manage employee leave programs
- Carry out any other assignment as directed
PERSON PROFILE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 1-2 years of HR experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree/HND in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
