Job Summary
- We are looking for talented individuals to fill the role of Human Resource and Business Development Officer.
- The Human Resource (HR) and Business Development Officer will assist with all recruitment, benefits and hiring actions.
- He/She will also support the company executive(s) in business development and communications which may including proposal writing.
Job Description
- The job holder will maintain data for employment history, confirmation, promotion, transfers, salaries and trainings.
- You will take full ownership of all HR matters across the company from recruitment to on-boarding, talent and performance management, disciplinary action, and learning and developments.
- Support the various managers and team leads in HR performance optimization.
- Organize, develop and support individual employee training and development plans.
- Ensure HR compliance to Legal and Regulatory requirements.
- Support development of clear HR policies and systems, ensure awareness and compliance.
- Monitoring and generating attendance reports of all staff.
- Overseeing all administrative and human resource matters including the overall operations and functionality of office.
- Draft, review and send communications on behalf of company.
- Answer and respond to phone calls, communicate messages and information to the company and its executives
- Prioritize emails and respond as appropriate.
- Manage scheduling for company executive(s). Organize and prepare for meetings, including gathering documents and attending to logistics of meetings
- Support business opportunity identification and development.
- Support timely, quality research proposal submissions.
- Maintain clients, consultants and partners relationship, update R-DATS’ databases regularly.
- Generate bid submission report, track success ratios.
- Coordinate performance assessments, offer advice.
- Contribute to organizational development, implementation and represent R-DATS at events.
Qualifications
- B.Sc or HND in Human Resource Management, Business Administrations, Psychology, Law, social sciences, Languages or other relevant fields. MSc. In any of these field is desirable.
- A minimum of 2 years professional working experience in corporate environment.
- Demonstrated prior operational HR function experience.
- Prior experience in business development, communications and/or proposal management, ideally in corporate sector/INGOS is an advantage
- Professional approach, coupled with strong interpersonal skills and business acumen.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills required.
- Good negotiating and influencing skills and implementing personnel and business policies.
- Competency in Ms -Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc
- Proven skills in attention to details is required
- Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
- Candidate should be resident in Abuja.
