Job Summary
- We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) to work closely with our business leaders to align HR initiatives with organizational goals.
- The ideal candidate will act as a consultant on human resource-related matters, providing guidance and support on a variety of HR functions such as talent management, employee engagement, and performance improvement.
- The HRBP will also ensure smooth implementation of HR strategies and policies across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to develop HR strategies that align with business goals.
- Act as a consultant to managers and staff regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Provide expertise in talent management including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning.
- Facilitate employee engagement initiatives to drive organizational culture and high performance.
- Manage employee relations issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution of conflicts and grievances.
- Collaborate with HR and management on performance management processes, providing guidance and support in employee development.
- Analyze HR metrics to provide actionable insights that drive HR and business decisions.
- Support change management efforts and ensure the smooth execution of organizational transformations.
- Lead efforts to ensure compliance with labor laws and organizational policies.
- Assist with HR projects and initiatives such as compensation reviews, training programs, and talent retention strategies.
Key Requirements
- 710 years of HR experience, preferably in strategic HR roles like HRBP.
- Internationally recognized HR qualification or degree from a foreign institution.
- Prior experience in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and/or telecommunications sectors.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders.
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, HRCI) will be an added advantage
Experience:
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in HR, preferably as an HRBP or in a similar capacity.
- Experience in industries similar to Simba Group’s sectors will be an advantage.
Skills Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of HR functions (recruitment, employee relations, performance management, talent management, etc.).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills.
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Knowledge of HR systems and MS Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
