Job Description:
- As a Housekeeping Personnel, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of guest rooms, public areas, and other facilities within the establishment.
- Your role is vital in creating a positive and memorable experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards
- Replace linens and towels, and restock guest room amenities
- Dust and polish furniture and fixtures
- Vacuum carpets and sweep/mop floors
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and tools are properly maintained and stored
- Follow health and safety regulations and procedures at all times
- Assist guests with any queries or requests in a polite and efficient manner
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment is preferred
- SSCE, OND in hospitality, business administration or related field.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain a high level of performance
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
- Good physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication skills in English
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Trustworthy and reliable with a professional attitude
