- A Field Marketer for an HMO (Health Maintenance Organization) is responsible for promoting the organization’s healthcare plans and services to potential members, healthcare providers, and the community.
Job Summary
- The Field Marketer will be responsible for increasing the organization’s market presence by engaging with potential members, healthcare providers, and the community to promote HMO plans and services.
- The role involves executing marketing strategies, organizing events, and conducting outreach activities to drive enrollment and retention.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing and Outreach:
- Develop and implement field marketing strategies to promote HMO plans.
- Conduct community outreach activities, including attending health fairs, community events, and seminars.
- Build relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and healthcare providers to generate leads.
Event Management:
- Plan, organize, and execute marketing events, workshops, and seminars.
- Coordinate with vendors, venues, and other stakeholders to ensure successful event execution.
- Represent the HMO at events, providing information and answering questions about healthcare plans.
Lead Generation and Conversion:
- Identify and target potential members through various outreach activities.
- Educate potential members about the benefits and features of HMO plans.
- Follow up on leads generated through marketing activities to convert them into enrolled members.
Relationship Building:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, healthcare providers, and key influencers.
- Work closely with sales and enrollment teams to support their efforts in acquiring new members.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities for growth and areas for improvement.
- Analyze competitive landscape and gather insights to inform marketing strategies.
- Provide feedback to the marketing team on the effectiveness of field marketing activities.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Track and report on the progress of marketing campaigns and outreach activities.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions, leads, and follow-ups.
- Prepare regular reports for management on the performance of field marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in field marketing, sales, or a related role, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
