Head of Security needed at Ascentech Services Limited

Job Overview:

• We are seeking an experienced Head of Security to oversee and manage all security operations at Mowe Business Park. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises, training security personnel, managing visitor entry, and implementing effective security protocols. Preference will be given to ex-servicemen with hands-on experience in security management.

Key Responsibilities:

Security Management:

• Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures to safeguard the business park.
• Monitor security systems, including surveillance cameras and alarm systems, to ensure effectiveness.

Team Leadership:

• Train, supervise, and manage security staff to ensure high standards of security and customer service.
• Conduct regular drills and training sessions to prepare the team for emergency situations.

Visitor Management:

• Oversee visitor entry and exit processes to ensure a secure and efficient visitor experience.
• Maintain an accurate visitor log and ensure compliance with entry protocols.

Incident Response:

• Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, or breaches, conducting investigations as necessary.
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents and security-related matters for management review.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with management and other departments to enhance overall security strategies.
• Liaise with law enforcement and emergency services when required.

Risk Assessment:

• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging security threats.

Qualifications:

• Preferred: Ex-serviceman with relevant security experience.
• Proven experience in a security management role, ideally in a corporate or industrial environment.
• Strong leadership and training skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of security technology and systems.
• Ability to remain calm and make decisions in high-pressure situations.
