Job Summary

  • As the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of the pharmacies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Management: You would be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the pharmacies. This includes managing pharmacy staff, ensuring proper workflow, and maintaining high-quality serving and standards.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Pharmacies are subject to various regulations and standards set by regulatory bodies. You would be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and maintaining proper documentation and record-keeping.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintaining the highest medication safety and quality level is crucial in a pharmacies. You would need to implement quality assurance programmes, conduct regular audits, and review processes to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Staff Management: As a general manager, you would oversee the hiring, training, and performance evaluations of pharmacy staff. You must ensure proper staffing levels and create a positive work environment that encourages professional growth and development.
  • Customer Service: Our pharmacies serve various category of customers and other group settings. Providing excellent customer service to these customers would be essential. You would need to establish strong relationships with customers, address their needs and concerns, and ensure timely and accurate delivery of medications.
  • Financial Management: You would be responsible for the financial management of the pharmacies. This includes budgeting, expense control, pricing strategies, and maximizing revenue generation.
  • Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing long-term strategic plans for the pharmacies would be part of your role. This includes identifying growth opportunities, exploring new markets, and adapting to changes in the healthcare landscape.
  • Collaboration: We work closely with healthcare providers, physicians, nurses, and other stakeholders. You would need to foster collaborative relationships and effective communication to ensure the seamless provision of pharmaceutical services.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy is required
  • Masters in Business Administration would be an added advantage.
  • Prior experience in healthcare is required, preferably in a pharmacy or other healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and handling customer complaints or difficult situations empathetically and professionally.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
