Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Manage the yearly audit cycle to guarantee the timely issuance of annual financial statements
  • Inform executives of reasons for and analyses of deviations from budgeted expectations, and when appropriate, make suggestions for process improvements or problem-solving
  • Keep track of cash-management initiatives
  • Controlling balance sheet and liquidity risk
  • Monitoring overall function and effective departmental operations

Requirements

  • Master Degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Must be a member of a recognized professional accounting body.
  • At least 3-5 years of work experience in a Microfinance Bank.
  • Experienced working in leadership positions, overseeing a team and reporting to top level management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
