Responsibilities
Financial Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Ensure all financial transactions are properly documented and filed.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Process invoices, verify financial data, and ensure timely payments.
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
Reconciliation:
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Provide financial analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.
Compliance and Audit:
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and relevant regulations.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
Data Management:
- Maintain financial databases and systems.
- Implement and maintain efficient accounting systems and processes.
Support and Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments to ensure financial alignment and support business operations.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 – 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the FMCG industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle).
- Strong MS Excel skills and familiarity with financial reporting tools
- Candidates must be residents of Ajah, preferably male.
- Applicant must reside in Ajah.
