Job Description

• The company is seeking to hire a Finance manager who will maintain the financial health of the organization, providing financial reports and interpreting financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting accurate data analysis and offering advice to senior management on strategies to maximize profits, securing long-term success for the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.
• Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take
• Conduct accurate data analysis and offer advice to senior management on strategies to maximize profits, securing long-term success for the company.
• Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
• Plan, organize, and execute financial tasks and projects of the organization.
• Achieve a proper mix of equity and debt to minimize cost and maximize operational profit.
• Manage and monitor metrics, KPI tracking, and reports.
• Provide financial insight and analysis to drive the business performance of the organization.
• Understand and calculate the risks involved in the financial activities of the organization.
• Strategize on fund procurement through banks and other financial institutions.
• Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years relevant experience from a financial service or financial technology industry
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, and/or ACA, ACCA certification is required
• Knowledge of transaction monitoring and financial reporting
• Proficient user of finance software
• A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
• Exceptional proficiency with Microsoft Excel (financial modeling and valuations)
• Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
