Fertility Nurse Trainee needed at Lily Hospitals Limited

Position Overview

The Fertility Nurse Trainee will assist in providing comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing fertility treatments. This role involves learning and supporting all aspects of fertility care, from patient procedure preparations to post-treatment follow-ups, under the supervision of experienced fertility nurses and medical staff. 

Responsibilities:

• Document scheduled procedures on theatre list.
• Assist in carrying out and documenting  patients’ pre-op and post-op care.
• Adequately stocking examination room and theatre with clinical supplies.
• Preparing scan room & th-eatre for examination/procedures.
• Interfacing with pharmacy and patients in getting medication.
• Updating hard and softy copies of patients treatment summary
• Assist in updating patient records following treatment (e.g. scan findings, clinical observations following monocyte recovery, etc)

Job Requirements

Education:

• Minimum Requirements: Registered Nurse (RN) with a current license to practice nursing.
• Added Advantage: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification –  (American Heart Association)

Experience:

• Minimum Requirements: 2 years
• Added Advantage: > 2 years

Others:

• Knowledge of the Microsoft office package.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a hospital environment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Outstanding communication (oral and written), interpersonal and people management skills.
