The Route-To-Market Manager will spearhead a comprehensive change process that will bring about major improvements to the way we sell, distribute and make available our products to our trade and consumers
- Building the RTM Strategies for various market models across state markets
- Set the Sales Processes like Sales Planning, primary and secondary sales execution for sales excellence
- Ensure sales and distribution model in line with company strategies
- Execute and evaluate RTM performance distributor infrastructure
- Setting up expectations and process for cross functional dependencies like with marketing for trade marketing activities, Inventory management with days inventory at the distributor level.
- Beat planning with Route optimization.
- Setting up of the Sales KPI’s and driving them to ensure sales target achievement of primary and secondary sales, market coverage, SKU coverage etc.
- Building up the Sales force automation (SFA) from scratch for better planning, execution, monitoring and reporting.
- Drives both the operational and strategic route resourcing agenda with the company’s distributors and ensures binding commitments with such partners for distributor growth and route service.
- Coordinates the RTM activities and adjusts routes to meet customer needs.
- Analyze and resolve work problems by developing leading edge RTM programs and ensure appropriate controls and reporting tools.
- Development and monitoring of business routines that delivers high success rates.
- Coordinate within the Area to improve the distributor compensation model that will incentivize volume, share growth and delivery performance
- Maintain high level numeric distribution.
- Update the RTM process from a strategic point of view, including relevant market changes & resources limitations.
- Maintain and continuously review the company’s every dealer database and take advantage of all opportunities arising from both organic and inorganic growth of our market.
Qualifications
- BA/B.sc/MBA in Business Administration, Marketing Management, Business Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Sales & Marketing with 2 Years in RTM specialization experience in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) organization.
- Experience in the dairy industry will be an added advantage
- Must have a valid driving license and be of unquestionable character with outstanding leadership skills
