Job Description

  • The Director, Works and Services is the head of the Works and Services Department of the University, responsible to the Vice- Chancellor for the development and maintenance of the infrastructure, equipment and sundry utilities of the University.

Qualifications
The Candidate must possess the following qualifications:

  • A University Degree in Engineering from a recognized University, with not less than 18 years cognate experience
  • Must be a registered member of the following professional bodies:
    • Council of Registered Engineers of Nigeria (COREN)
    • The Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE)
    • A higher degree in Engineering and a Fellowship of any of the above listed professional bodies, will be an advantage
  • The candidate should be ICT literate and not more-than fifty-five (55) years,

Experience:

  • Candidate must have at least ten (10) years post-graduation experience

Salary / Conditions of Service

  • The salary and conditions of service are as obtainable in the Nigerian University System

Tenure:

  • The appointment will be for one term of five (5) years only.
