Duties
- Overall control of the Works and Estate Department
- Formulating divisional strategies to achieve the Polytechnic goals; planning and controlling the technical activities of the Works Department.
- Advising the Rector on the acquisition, operation and maintenance of all polytechnic’s assets Preparing the Works Division’s budget and exercising budgetary controls;
- Keeping an inventory of all Polytechnic vehicles and responsibility of their maintenance, security and up-keep.
- Supervision of all staff in the division.
Qualifications
- Interested candidate should possess a B.Sc / HND in Engineering with at least 18 years post qualification cognate experience or a Master s Degree in Engineering plus 18 years post-qualification cognate experience or Doctorate degree with 13 years post-qualification cognate experience.
- Must be registered with COREN.
- Interested candidates should not be more than 59 years of age at the time of application. Candidates for this position must be morally sound and of impeccable character.
