Design and 3D Visualization Architect needed at Carrillion Construction

CONCEPT OF DEVELOPMENT

• Collaborate with the design team to create and refine architectural concepts.
• Translate initial sketches and ideas into detailed 3D models.
• Ensure that designs meet both aesthetic and functional requirements.

3D MODELLING AND RENDERING

• Develop high-quality 3D models using software such as Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Rhino, or similar tools.
• Produce realistic renderings and animations to effectively visualize design concepts.
• Apply and manipulate textures, lighting, and materials to enhance the visual quality of 3D models.

PRESENTATION AND DOCUMENTATION

• Prepare and deliver design presentations to clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating design intentions.
• Develop comprehensive drawings and documentation to support design proposals and construction documentation.
• Create visual content for marketing materials, presentations, and client meetings, ensuring clarity and impact.

COLLABORATION

• Work closely with architects and other team members to ensure designs are practical and meet project requirements.
• Coordinate with external consultants and contractors when necessary, integrating their input into the design process.
• Participate in design reviews, offering and incorporating constructive feedback to improve design quality.

TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY

• Stay current with the latest trends and advancements in 3D modeling and visualization software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to 3D modeling and rendering processes.
• Optimize 3D models for performance, ensuring they are efficient and high-quality.

OTHER DUTIES

• Assist in the preparation of project proposals and bid documents.
• Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project conditions as needed.
• Participate in client meetings, site meetings, workshops, and brainstorming sessions.
• Provide training and support to junior team members on 3D modeling and rendering techniques.
• Any other task as assigned by the team lead or management to support project and company goals.
