Role Summary
Husk Power Systems is looking for a Retail Outlet Coordinator with at least 3 years of experience in the Consumer Goods sector to oversee and manage the operations of our D2R Retail Partner Outlets in Nigeria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, particularly within the electronics or fast-moving consumer goods industry, and will be instrumental in driving traffic to the outlets, boosting revenue, managing inventory, expanding outlets, and ensuring exceptional customer service and experience.
Key Responsibilities
General
- Oversee the operations of multiple D2R retail outlets, ensuring smooth functioning and alignment with company policies.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales and profitability at each retail location.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring stock availability while minimizing excess inventory.
- Train, supervise, and motivate retail partners to deliver outstanding customer service and meet sales targets.
- Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained to attract customers and enhance the shopping experience.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to implement promotional activities and drive foot traffic to retail outlets.
- Track and analyze sales performance and customer feedback, providing regular reports to management.
- Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure efficient and consistent operations across all outlets.
- Manage budgets, expenses, and financial performance for each retail location.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Required Skills & Attributes
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in retail management, preferably in the consumer goods sector, with a track record of achieving sales and operational targets.
- Good understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
- Strong leadership and retail partnership skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Ability to travel as required.
