Cooling System Technician needed at NewRest Group

REQUIRENENT.

Candidate most poses the following:

Technical knowledge:

• Understanding of thermodynamics, refrigeration cycles, and heat transfer principles.
• Familiarity with various cooling systems, including HVAC, chillers, and heat pumps.

Practical skills:

• Ability to install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot cooling systems.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring, and control systems.

Physical abilities:

• Ability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and equipment handlining.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring prolonged standing, bending, and lifting.

Soft skills:

• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail, safety awareness, and organizational skills.

Continuous learning:

• Staying up to date with new technologies, manufacturers’ instructions, and industry best practices.

Education:

• Post-secondary training in HVAC technology, such as:
• Certificate programs (1-2 years)
• Diploma programs
• Degree in Engineering or relevant field.

Relevant Certifications are added Advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in cooling system technician role or equivalent field.
