Cleaning Supervisor needed at Westhill Facilities Managers

Our company is seeking to hire a cleaning supervisor who would be responsible for supervision cleaning services carried out by janitors in our residential facilities. The cleaning supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the 100% customer satisfaction is achieved.

Responsibilities include:

• Establish cleaning standards and procedures for janitors and ensure that they are being followed.
• Ensure that services are carried out safely, hygienically and to contractual specifications.
• Create a detailed work schedule for janitors and monitor areas on a regular basis to know if duties are carried out properly.
• Inspection of cleaning equipment and reporting of all faulty equipment to the manager.
• Have full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials and chemicals.
• Controlling and monitoring the usage of cleaning materials to avoid or minimize waste and/or misuse.
• Ensure that all janitors are accounted for and assigned duties are carried out efficiently.
• Ensure that all janitors are dressed appropriately.
• Act as a communication conduit between management and staff.
• Monitor and report absenteeism to the Manager.
• Liaise with the Manager on a daily basis regarding current tasks, and assist in the planning of future tasks.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND in any relevant course
• Proven experience in leading a cleaning team.
• Understanding of various cleaning approaches and methods.
• Able to supervise staff
• Must have good interpersonal attributes. That is to say, the supervisor must be someone that gets along easily with people (easily approachable).
• Physically fit the role requires a lot of walking
• Must be proactive in the line of duty.
• Must have the ability and willingness to work as part of a team, and most importantly, lead a team.
• Proximity to Victoria Island e.g., Lekki, Yaba, Oworoshoki, Gbagada etc.
• Salary: N58, 000 Gross pay. (Other benefits include pension)
