Job Description

What you will be doing

• Develop and implement a risk-based internal audit plan to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Lead and manage a team of internal audit professionals to execute audit engagements effectively and efficiently.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Monitor and report on the status of audit activities to senior management and the board of directors.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to identify and mitigate risks.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends and developments in auditing, risk management, and corporate governance.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth

Qualifications

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Chartered Accountant
• Certified Internal Auditor
• 9+ years of progressive experience in auditing, with a focus on internal audit
• Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards, risk management principles, and internal control frameworks
• Proven experience in Health care is a plus
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Proven leadership ability and experience managing teams
• Ability to effectively interact with senior management and board members
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct
