Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Transactions: Accurately process Petty cash, handle cash, and operate point-of-sale POS systems efficiently.
  • Payment Handling: Manage various payment methods including cash, credit/debit cards, and ensure the proper handling of receipts and change.
  • Balancing Cash Register: Maintain and balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift, and report any discrepancies.
  • Record-Keeping: Ensure all transaction records and receipts are filed and maintained accurately.
  • Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the checkout area clean, and organized at all times.

Qualifications

  • A Graduate in Accounting or a related field
  • 0-1 years cogent experience post NYSC.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
