Job Description
This role assists the office of the MD/CEO in overseeing the formation of data-driven insights for informed decisions.
Job Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, Statistics or equivalent
- Relevant professional certification or qualification would be an added advantage.
- At least 10+ years in a similar role or related field.
Technical competencies
- Demonstrated strategic focus with a capacity to shape and drive vision for advancing business intelligence objectives
- Extensive experience and comprehensive working knowledge of business intelligence and data warehouse.
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and liaison.
- Extensive knowledge of business analytics.
- Good knowledge of technical standards/regulations and statutory requirements guiding electricity distribution systems.

Job Responsibility
- Analyze data to identify patterns or trends that could indicate problems within the business.
- Working with senior management to develop goals, objectives, and strategies for improving business performance using BI tools.
- Develops reports that monitor key business metrics.
- Develop and review existing business intelligence processes or policies to improve efficiency.
- Monitoring industry trends to identify upcoming challenges or opportunities for the organization.
- Advocating for business intelligence solutions that will help the organization meet its goals.
- Leads the strategic design, delivery, and maintenance of the Business Intelligence program that will support IBEDC’s Business Priorities
- Collaborate, investigate, analyze, and interpret business information needs based on organizational business processes, drivers, and priorities.
- Implement agreed outcomes over all activities to ensure outcomes achieved meet organizational objectives.
- Provides high-level conceptual and technical expertise and understanding of data warehousing and business intelligence best practices.
- Identify and fix data quality issues and other relevant Business information.
- Assist in the development of the adherence to database and development standards.
- Coordinate board papers and deliverables for the office of the MD
- Prepare reports as may be required by the Managing Director/CEO
