Job Summary
- The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving RBN’s growth and profitability.
- This position is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and overseeing regional marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilites
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy:
- Collaborate with the CEO and senior management team to create and execute a the growth strategy that aligns with RBN’s business objectives and profitability goals.
- Market analysis and opportunity identification:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, new markets, and potential partners that align with RBN’s core strengths and growth ambitions.
- Revenue growth: Identify, target, and secure new revenue streams through strategic partnerships, advertising deals, content distribution agreements, and other monetization opportunities.
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and mentor regional marketing heads: Provide direction, support, and performance management for regional marketing teams to ensure alignment with RBN’s overall business objective.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation:
- Encourage creative thinking and problem-solving within the team, ensuring that marketing strategies are both innovative and aligned with business goals.
- Develop KPIs and performance metrics:
- Establish clear performance indicators for the marketing team, regularly review their progress and implement necessary adjustments to meet targets.
Partnership Development
- Build and maintain strong relationships: Cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including advertisers, content creators, distributors, and other potential partners.
- Negotate and close deals: Lead negotations for partnerships and agreements that align with RBN’s strategic goals, ensuring that terms are favorable and sustainable for long-term growth.
- Expand RBN’s market presence: Identify and explore new markets, both domestically and internationally, to expand RBN’s reach and influence.
Marketing & Brand Development
- Oversee regional marketing strategies: Work closely with regional marketing heads to develop and execute marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, audience engagement, and revenue growth.
Brand positioning:
- Ensure that RBN’s brand is consistently represented across all platforms and in all marketing efforts, maintaining a strong, cohesive brand image.
- Monitor and analyze performance: Use data-driven insights to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, making necessary adjustments to improve ROI and achieve business goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Media Studies, or a related field.
- An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in business development or marketing within the media industry.
- Proven experience in a leadership role is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of the media landscape: Knowledge of content distribution, advertising, digital media trends, and emerging technologies.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving business targets.
- Exceptional negotation and relationship-building skills.
- Leadership experience:
- Ability to lead and inspire teams, with a strong focus on collaboration and results.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.`
