Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business development strategies to drive growth and achieve revenue targets.
- Identify new market opportunities and trends to expand the laboratory’s and other business services.
- Analyze data to inform strategic decisions and business development initiatives.
- Work with the product/service development team to identify new service offerings and improvements to existing services.
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Manage client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the laboratory and other businesses.
- Provide market feedback to inform product development and innovation.
- Prepare and present regular reports on business development activities, market trends, and sales performance.
Qualification/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the healthcare or medical laboratory industry.
- Strong understanding of market research, sales strategies, and business development processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
