Job Description
- The ideal candidate will have experience in all stages of the sales cycle.
- The candidate should be confident in building new client relationships and maintaining existing ones.
- They should have evidence of strong skills and possess good negotiation skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit proposals to clients.
- Identify sales opportunities and convert them to business.
- Prepare pre-plan and update CRM on each marketing visit.
- Assist the marketing manager in local business development and getting new clients.
- Develop market share with existing clients.
- Build and leverage relationships with partners, to leverage their resources and solutions and provide an optimal customer experience.
- Develop strategic territory plans which include the identification of high to medium potential accounts.
- Analyze the market and establish a competitive advantage.
- Track metrics to ensure targets are met.
Skills / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or any related course.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in the shipping and logistics sector.
- Experience in full sales cycle including deals closing and demonstrated sales success.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of proposal writing.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of any CRM software is an added advantage.
Salary
- N150,000 – N200,000 / month.
