Job Summary
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant/Payroll Officer to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our company’s financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Additionally, they will be responsible for processing payroll, managing benefits, and ensuring accurate and timely payment of employee compensation.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management:
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, such as tax laws and financial reporting requirements
Payroll Management:
- Process payroll accurately and timely, including salaries, benefits, and deductions
- Manage employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, such as tax laws and labor laws
Accounting and Financial Analysis:
- Perform financial analysis and prepare financial reports, including budgeting and forecasting
- Identify and resolve financial discrepancies and errors
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
Other Duties:
- Assist with financial planning and budgeting
- Provide financial training and support to other departments
- Perform other financial duties as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
- Professional certification in accounting (CPA, CMA, or equivalent)
- At least 3 years of experience in accounting and payroll management
- Strong knowledge of financial laws and regulations
- Excellent analytical and financial skills
- Proficient in accounting software and systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, etc.)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Nice to Have:
- Master’s Degree in Accounting or related field
- Experience with financial planning and budgeting
- Knowledge of human resources management
- Experience with payroll software and systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, etc.)
