Responsibilities
As an experienced Accountant, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Managing financial transactions and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Preparing financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations, including LIRS, FIRS, PAYE, VAT, Payroll, and WHT matters.
• Handling payroll processing and ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
• Conducting financial analysis and providing insights to support decision-making.
• Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency.
• Participating in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assisting with audits and providing necessary documentation and information.

Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

• Candidates should possess an HND / B.Sc Degree with 4 – 6 years relevant work experience.
• Professional certification in Accounting (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is a plus.
• Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of LIRS, FIRS, PAYE, VAT, Payroll, and WHT matters.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications.
• Excellent understanding of financial statements and financial analysis.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
