Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, trial balances, and journal entries.
- Prepare the financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Analyze financial data and trends to identify variances, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing financial reporting and taxation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including management and department heads, to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
- Development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate risks.
- Conduct periodic audits of financial records and processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Provide support during external audits and regulatory inspections by preparing requested documentation and responding to inquiries.
Qualifications
- BSc in Accounting from a reputable university. This is compulsory
- 1-3years work experience
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and principles
- Hands-on experience with accounting software
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and good analytical skill
