Accountant needed at Bradama

Job Summary:

The Accountant will manage the company’s financial activities, including financial reporting, budgeting, cost control, and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting skills, attention to detail, and excellent analytical abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

•  Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Budgeting and Cost Control:

•   Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts.
•  Monitor and control costs to ensure alignment with budgetary targets.

Accounting Operations:

• Manage and maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
• Ensure proper internal controls and accounting procedures.

Auditing and Compliance:

•  Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
•  Prepare and submit statutory returns and reports.

Financial Analysis:

•    Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
•    Provide insights and recommendations to management.

Cash Management:

•  Manage cash flow and ensure adequate liquidity.
•    Oversee accounts receivable and payable.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Professional certification (CPA, ACA, or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
