Job Description:

The Account Manager would be responsible for the efficient and effective distribution of the merchant and agent network in alignment with customer segmentation and value proposition. He or she would give the company superior public perception and recommendation by achieving positive brand quality perception in the agency banking space in Nigeria.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for execution of market penetration and prospect generation plans within an assigned zone

  • Liaising with clients and other staff

  • Training and retraining of agents within an assigned zone

  • Providing and putting up merchandising materials nicely and strategically in all company‰Ûªs outlets within an assigned zone

  • Proper monitoring and supervision of all agents‰Ûª activities within an assigned zone

  • Updates and reporting of all activities going on in agents outlets

  • Receiving calls and resolving all issues that pertain to agents

  • Processing of documents for the activation and or re-activation of accounts

  • Verification of documents and outlets of new account/prospective for set up

  • Responsible for market penetration, lead generation plans/strategies and execution of company‰Ûªs target within an assigned territory

  • Carrying out specific projects and research as assigned

  • Ensuring that all issues pertaining to Business Development activities are resolved swiftly

  • Coming up with ideas on strategies to drive sales

  • Liaising with every other department to ensure that service and product offering is competitive

  • Giving feedback on market trends and field activities

  • Data keeping and analysis.

Job Requirement:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role in financial services institution

  • Minimum of a HND/BSC in a relevant discipline

  • Knowledge of the agent banking industry

  • Experience in agent management and training

  • Experience working in multifunctional and multicultural team

  • Sales/Marketing and business development skills

  • Good negotiation and people management skills
