Key Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with relevant Nigerian influencers to enhance brand recognition.
- Seek and secure sponsorships from companies within the gaming, crypto, and related industries.
- Prepare and present engaging and effective business development materials, such as fact sheets, reports, and presentation documents.
- Conduct thorough market research on competitors, potential customers, and the market environment to propose sponsorship acquisition strategies.
- Provide feedback and business intelligence to the Marketing and Product Leadership teams to improve effectiveness.
- Create and manage a list of business contacts, maintaining relationships through regular online/offline interactions.
- Analyze market trends and develop strategic sales plans based on these insights.
- Effectively record sales interactions and set up outreach lists in HubSpot.
- Exceed acquisition targets and KPIs.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in business development, marketing, client-facing roles, or related fields.
- Deep understanding and passion for the gaming and Crypto industries.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with various stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to share information clearly and effectively in both text and verbal form, within and outside the team.
- High levels of pro-activeness to further company growth and awareness.
- High self-management capability, with the organizational and project management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness and ability to travel for business development within Nigeria.
- Creative and strategic thinking ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
