About Company

St Saviour’s School Ebute Metta, is a Trust School that caters for children from Nursery to Primary 6 and delivers the Nigerian Curriculum as part of a thoroughly rounded education, preparing children to become global citizens, competing in an international environment. We also use the International Primary Curriculum to enhance the learning of all children.
St Saviour’s School Ebute Metta was founded by the Colonial Church School Trust, established by St Saviour’s Colonial Church Council at the inspiration of Canon R. A. Wright. The funds of the trust were provided through Frank Samuel Esq of the United African Company Limited and by the commercial firms established in Nigeria.
The School was opened on 23rd April, 1951 in the Nigerian Railway Compound. The School had four classrooms with a capacity for one hundred children. However, St Saviour’s School, Ebute Metta has extended its capacity by constructing more classrooms, a Computer Room, a Science Laboratory, a well equipped Library, an Art Room and most recently the Diamond Building, house 8 new classrooms.
St Saviour’s School, Ebute Metta, is a Christian school in the Anglican tradition, accepting children of all beliefs who share our core values.
A not-for-profit school, it is led by the Head Teacher, empowered by the Board of Management and guided by the Board of Trustees.
