About Company
Raising New Voices Initiative is a youth led organisation with a focus and commitment towards youth inclusion at the political leadership level in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.
Our vision to become the foremost organisation supporting young people’s participation at the political decision-making table is implemented through crowdfunding support programs for young people running for office, advocacy on reforms (such as electoral reforms, political party reforms, economic reforms, constitutional reforms, amongst others) that hinder young people’s participation and human capacity development for young people.
In 2018, through our #BreakTheHold Campaign, we supported 25 young people under the age of 35 years old in the campaigns to run for the office of Federal Representative at the lower house of the National Assembly. Since the elections ended, we have worked with various partners to implement programs focused on building capacity of young people to lead and serve as elected officers and collaborated with other like minded organisations to advocate for Electoral Reforms.
