About Company
The Initiative for Education and Development (IDEE) was formed in 1999. It started as a social association and finally metamorphosed into a non-for profit and Non-Governmental Organization incorporated with a board of Trustee in 2001. IDEE strives to work with communities to identify development challenges and map out strategies to address such challenges.
IDEE has made its presence known in some communities through the animation of Village Development Committee(VDC), Farmers Cooperative Group (FCG), institutional strengthening on Community Based Planning and Management and awareness creation on girl child education. It has trained ten unemployed youths in fish farming, poultry, snailry and vegetable gardening. The first sets of trainee were beneficiaries of the National Poverty Eradication Programme (NAPEP).
