The initial Firm of Etiaba Chambers became inactive for over fifteen years when the late founder took … read moreto Magistracy between 1964 and 1979. He retired volutarily as a C hief Magistrate and resuscitated the practice until his death in 1987.
The Firm became Emeka Etiaba & Co., Etiaba Chambers in 1989 when Emeka revived it and from then, it witnessed some revolutionary changes, part of which was the active participation of the Firm in commercial and corporate law practices in addition to the litigation it had always known for.
The Chambers which used to be in Nnewi, Anambra State alone, withnessed the opening of the Lagos branch in 1990 and subsequently Abuja in 1995, Port-Harcourt in 1998, Awka and Enugu in 2011. The Firm also got boosts when Barrister Echezona Etiaba joined the Firm in 1998 and Barrister Engineer Mrs. Joy Etiaba in 2009.
