About Company

Critical Rescue International (CRI) is Nigeria’s first national advanced medical paramedic company. We are in business to manage medical emergencies wherever and whenever they occur in our area of operation.
On hand to deliver our innovative services is a team of uniquely qualified international and local medial personnel. We operate a fleet of ambulances that are mobile intensive care units and response cars that are fully loaded with Advanced Life Support facilities.
CRI is backed locally by the formidable strength of UNIC Insurance Plc, one of Nigeria’s largest Insurance companies. We also have agreements with some of the best equipped hospitals in Lagos State. This guarantees all subscribers transported by CRI, instant admission. Some of these hospitals are THE Cardiac Centre, First Consultants, Med-In, Gold Cross, St. Nicholas and Heritage Hospital.
CRI brings to the Nigerian market world class medical technology currently in use in the world’s most advanced countries. At the heart of CRI is the Call Centre, and innovation unmatched in Nigeria. Staffed by trained and accredited emergency dispatchers, the Centre manages thousands of calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The CRI Emergency Dispatch System EDS, has been used to manage more than 10 million 911-type calls in the US, UK, S.A., Australia, India, Argentina, Venezuela and now Nigeria. When a call is received, the EDS prompts the emergency medical dispatchers to ask relevant questions which enable them to quickly determine the severity of the caller’s case.
In an emergency, an ambulance with requisite equipment and personnel is immediately dispatched to arrest the situation while CRI continues to provide you life-saving advice over the phone until the ambulance arrives.
Non-emergency calls are handled by the CRI Medical Help Desk. Here, qualified nurses and doctors working with a sophisticated system called TELEMEDICINE, assess the caller through symptoms given over the phone and advise accordingly.
