Job Summary:
- The Human Resource Personnel is responsible for managing the day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations. This role acts as a liaison between management and employees, providing guidance and support in HR matters to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Staffing:
- Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and extending job offers.
- Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions.
- Manage relationships with recruitment agencies and external partners.
- Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new employees, including conducting orientations and processing paperwork.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as the point of contact for employees regarding HR-related concerns, including workplace grievances and policy clarifications.
- Investigate and resolve employee complaints in accordance with company policies and labor laws.
- Facilitate effective communication between management and employees to ensure a positive work environment.
- Support managers with performance management and disciplinary actions.
Compensation and Benefits Administration:
- Administer compensation programs, including salary reviews, bonuses, and promotions.
- Manage employee benefits programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
- Assist employees with benefits-related questions and claims.
- Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate and timely payment of wages and benefits.
Compliance and Policy Management:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain and update employee records and ensure data accuracy.
- Review and update HR policies as necessary, ensuring they align with legal requirements and company goals.
- Conduct audits to ensure HR processes are in line with legal and regulatory standards.
Training and Development:
- Identify employee training needs and coordinate learning and development programs.
- Support career development initiatives and succession planning efforts.
- Track and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
HR Strategy and Planning:
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR strategies that align with the company’s business goals.
- Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture.
- Monitor HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates, absenteeism) and provide reports to management with insights and recommendations.
Health and Safety:
- Ensure the organization complies with workplace health and safety regulations.
- Work with management to implement and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Coordinate workplace safety training and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a human resources role.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and payroll systems.
