Mid-Level Laravel Developer needed at SeamlessHR Limited

Job Summary

• We are seeking a dedicated Mid-Level Laravel Developer to join our team. In this role, you would work on more complex tasks and would mentor junior software developers.

Job Details

As a mid-level developer, your duties will include interpreting and analyzing project specifications, writing clean, secure, and efficient codes, and testing and troubleshooting the Laravel applications and databases.

Our ideal candidate is a problem-solver, one that writes high-quality, functional and optimised code requiring little or no changes and also the willingness to learn and improve continuously.

• Assist in designing and implementing new features and functionality for Laravel-based applications
• Design and develop complex features and components of the software.
• Design and develop sensitive features and components of the software.
• Write and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to best practices, and knowledge sharing.
• Provide constructive feedback to peers and receive feedback on their code.
• Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to junior engineers and interns.
• Sharing knowledge and best practices to help team members grow professionally.
• Break down business requirements into specific and smaller tasks.
• Participate in the planning and design of new features and applications.

Requirements

• 3 – 5 years proven work experience as a Laravel Developer or similar role
• Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable PHP code and strong knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages
• Understanding of accessibility and security compliance
• Advanced understanding of database engines.
• Advanced proficiency in data structures and algorithms.
• Ability to convey technical ideas in a clear, logical fashion.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
