Quality Assurance Engineer needed at Termii

Role Description

• This is a full-time hybrid role for a Quality Assurance Engineer at Termii Group.
• The role involves tasks such as test execution, quality assurance, manual testing, creating test cases, and software testing. While the role is 90% remote, the successful candidate will be required to work from the office at least once a week and should primarily be located in Lagos.

Responsibilities

• Ensure our services are thoroughly tested and ready to serve customers.
• Work with technical leads to develop a deep understanding of the system architecture.
• Help to conceptualise appropriate acceptance tests and automate them within our integration testing framework.
• Ensure tests run smoothly and quickly.
• Ensure that broken tests are rapidly directed to the responsible engineers for correction.
• Test current products and identifying deficiencies
• Suggest solutions to identified product problems
• Investigate product quality in order to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction
• Plan, create and manage the overall Quality Planning strategy
• Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure consistent project execution
• Identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement
• Oversee continuous improvement projects
• Collect quality data
• Identify key KPIs for product quality
• Prepare and present reports and metrics to Senior Management

Role Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years developing in similar role
• Experience working with microservices/distributed systems.
• Experience in at least one major programming language
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities within cross-functional teams.
