The MdM community-based approach (CBA)?seeks to empower the communities about theire rights to health and access to services that are available for them; we need CBA to raise people’s awareness on?health-related issues, so they are able to recognize signs of emergencies or life-threatening situations and take precautions against epidemic disease. Additionally, MdMs CBA seeks to educate the community on malnutrition, hygiene practices, and the significance of immunization?and sexual reproductive health and rights?in reducing morbidity and death.
